Yesterday's post about this Wynkoop family photo made me curious about the building in the background, which appears to be the Liberty Baptist Church in Clay Township. I thought it would be neat to take a look at this historic church as it appears today.

According to the Decatur County Historic Sites and Structures Inventory, the Gothic Revival style church was built in 1868.
