Decatur County at the Indiana State Fair in the 1930's

The Indiana Historical Society has digitized over 50,000 digital images and made them available for viewing on their website. To mine this massive collection for images pertaining to Decatur County, click Search All Digital Collections and search for the exact phrase "Decatur County." You should find 30 items, including school registers, maps, postcards, and photos. But check back often - they are constantly adding more images.

Of particular interest is the J.C. Allen and Son Collection, 1926-1952, which includes over 700 photos of the Indiana State Fair. Decatur County Fair winners appear in five of these photos.
