Thomas Ewing

Tom
is chairman and publisher of Keene Publishing Corporation, a news and
information company which publishes The Keene Sentinel and
SentinelSource, the daily newspaper and online news service serving
Keene and southwestern New Hampshire, three weekly community newspapers
and a number of other specialty publications. Before coming to Keene,
Tom held positions with the House Ethics Committee’s so-called Koreagate
special staff headed by Leon Jaworksi and a Department of Justice
special staff investigating alleged FBI abuses and practiced corporate
and international securities law in New York City for ten years before
resigning his law partnership and purchasing The Sentinel. A Hamilton
College and Duke University School of Law graduate, Tom has served on
the boards and executive committees of N. H. Public Radio, the N. H.
Humanities Council and Leadership New Hampshire and on the audit
committee of the Federation of State Humanities Councils. He is also an
advisor to the board of the Monadnock Region’s Raylynmor Opera.
Thomas is the grandson of Oscar Ewing, Son of George Ewing
